So what do you do when life throws a curveball? A very good friend of mine; her husband has just lost his job and it’s quite a stressful time. So often when things don’t go to plan we try and create a new plan in a space of negativity or frustration or disappointment. So one of the things we just spoke about today was finding something in their lives that is happy for them right now. So whether that surfing, riding a bike, going to yoga, going to the gym, walking.
Find a safe, happy space and keep working on that every day and then at one point you’ll kind of be inspired to start to set new goals, start to set new plans. Don’t do it too early. You do not want to do this after something has gone wrong, in the space of it going wrong. So we’re trying to create a new space of happiness and positivity or it doesn’t even need to go from negative to positive, but even in a neutral zone, where you’re not making rash, uninformed, emotional decisions.
So please if this is happening to you, if there’s something in your life not going to plan then find something, even if it’s very small, that excites you, inspires you, makes you positive. Be in that space for a while and then eventually you’ll be in a position where you want to make new goals. So stay positive, stay happy, stay healthy and I’ll talk to you soon.
